"Success is a journey, not a destination. The doing is often more important than the outcome." — Arthur Ashe
Reflecting on my teaching internship, I am deeply grateful for the guidance and support of my cooperating teacher, Ma'am Barete. With her patient and thoughtful mentorship, I felt both challenged and comfortable, always encouraged to seek opportunities to refine and enhance my teaching methods. Her balanced approach allowed me to grow as an educator, instilling confidence and fostering my passion for teaching.
I also extend my heartfelt thanks to my other cooperating teacher, Ma'am Palma. Her openness and willingness to explore innovative teaching strategies were truly inspiring. She consistently pushed me to develop and implement higher-order thinking skills in the classroom, helping me to manage and engage learners effectively. Her challenges and support were instrumental in shaping my teaching philosophy and approach.
Although
our time was limited due to class cancellations, I gained invaluable insights
into the realities of classroom teaching. I learned that teaching is not just
about content delivery but involves embracing a comprehensive pedagogy that
addresses all aspects of student learning. I am truly grateful for the
opportunity to be mentored by such dedicated and knowledgeable teachers, and I
am thankful for the lessons learned and the growth experienced during this
internship journey.
